branding > Kewpee Hamburgers

Ever since I can remember my family has been enjoying this amazing 40’s style diner. Kewpee has been around since the 1920’s and its brand was in a pickle. They needed a new look. A fresh brand identity to appeal to a younger audience that also felt very traditional. The research for this project was intense and I spent many an afternoon talking to people about their memories of Kewpee. I had to figure out how to merge classic with modern and do it in a way that kept the history alive. I even started a group on Facebook that has grown to over 6,000 people to help find the larger target audience and how Kewpee fans felt all over the country.
