The challenge of getting people to donate money to higher education is one of the toughest things a university has to do each year. With a goal of raising $35,000 I was given the task to create a simple and clean looking suite of mail materials that would encourage donors to send in their checks. The campaign consisted of a main letter, two envelopes, a donor card and a story insert card. The piece had two spot colors and was sent to thousands of people via mail fulfillment. We met our goal and the piece became a favorite in all the years of the annual fund.
